In addition to the problem caused by their highly corrosive droppings, the presence of birds in populated areas can lead to the spreading of numerous diseases of which these birds are carriers. Such diseases include encephalitis, psittacosis, toxoplasmosis, orithosis, salmonellosis, Newcastle disease and teniasis. Birds are also carriers of fleas, ticks and mites, which in turn can transmit other diseases to both humans ans pets. This radar-equipped device detects the movement of approaching pigeons and other birds (seagulls, etc.) when flying towards the device and repels them by means of an instantaneous, dissuasive noise (similar to three gunshots). It is immediate "cause and effect" method prevents birds from perching in its area of coverage. |
